What all I listened to today
I studied for my math final today for 5 hours in the library and I decided to listen to entire albums instead of just pickin’ and choosin’ songs. This is what all I listened to.
Big Boi - “Sir Lucious Left Foot…The Son of Chico Dusty”
Definitely one of the most uncomfortable album titles to say; definitely one of the best albums I’ve heard in a long time.
B.o.B. - “The Adventures of Bobby Ray”
I haven’t listened to this album since it came out, and I remember why. More bad tracks than there are good. Oh well. I’ve still got his kick-ass t-shirt.
k’naan - “The Dusty Foot Philosopher”
Very good, very diverse album. If you haven’t listened to this great Somali-Canadian rapper, you need to.
Akira Yamaoka - “Silent Hill 2 Soundtrack”
Still one of my all-time favorites. I absolutely love all of the songs. Listening from beginning to end is definitely a beautiful, dark, twisted (Yeezy reference, anyone?) experience every single time.
Bad Rabbits - “Stick Up Kids EP”
Holy crap. I know that I’ve known this band since the beginning of the semester, but this EP (free at http://www.badrabbits.com/ ) is just too good. When their full-length album comes out, shit’s gonna hit the fan.
Made for a not-too-bad studying experience.
Shower Thoughts
All I do is study study study no matter what. Got grad school on my mind, I won’t give GPA up. And every time I step into the library, everybody’s heads go UP!…..Then they go down!
Or something like that.
I think…
I’m going to use this blog to start writing CD reviews. Whether they be old or new, depends on my mood. I’m already planning on reviewing Yeezy’s and Big Boi’s new albums that came out this year. I’m not saying that it’s going to be exclusively rap music, but those are what I’ve been listening to lately.
Should be fun.

I can’t be anymore sorry than I am. I’ve been assuming things and it ended up turning for the worse. That’s what I get for not being a man and just straight-up talking to you. That’s what I get for assuming the worse instead of the best. To both of you, I apologize, and I’m literally begging for forgiveness.
To most people, this is a crappy-looking tuba. Too bad it’s awesome. And it may be mine soon.

Another jim-jam for ya’ll.
I’ve been working with Jemi (a.k.a. this guy —> http://andyjemi.tumblr.com/ ) ‘s dad on a project (‘GlobalSpec’, which is what I named the track) for his job. Now that I’ve got the audio files to him, it was time to remix what I got. It’s about 1.5 gazillion times happier than I thought it was gonna be, so you should be happy ‘n’ stuff listening to it.
Bonus: At the end of the track, you can hear a take where Jemi dropped something really big and I happened to save it.
